2018 Chevrolet Colorado Changes and Release Date
While Chevrolet hasn’t yet announced a release date for the new Colorado, they have told us that production will begin in July of this year. If that goes off as expected, drivers could get their hands on a new Colorado truck as soon as August 2017.
Although the Chevy Colorado did just receive some impressive upgrades for 2017, including a new V6 engine and 8-speed automatic transmission, Chevy still has plans to continue improving offerings with an 8-speed automatic transmission for the 2.8L Duramax Diesel. This addition should enhance the overall responsiveness of the vehicle and may even have a positive impact on fuel efficiency.
Other updates drivers can expect from the 2018 Colorado include the addition of an LTZ trim, an optional sunroof, HID and LED headlamps, and new colors, which have yet to be announced.
